Hello?

In the past six months, there has been good. There has also been a fair amount of bad... But then, there has also been really, really good. I'm still here, and still happy.

And I find it incredibly interesting that I don't remember choosing this background at all. Which may be a very clear sign that I need to spend more time here. I'm just sayin'...

Lucky

Family means different things to different people... And it is a tough concept to wrap you head around when you've not had a positive exposure to it. Through some interesting experiences this weekend, I got a pretty clear glimpse of what it means to me, as well as what it means to the people to whom I am closest.

There's room for a little improvement... But I am up for the challenge of showing at least one very special person how important family is to me. I think we're going to be okay.

Newness

So, yeah... My life has changed.

I've attempted to apply my new life to the old blog, but that just wasn't working. I realized that, just like I needed to start a completely new life, a completely new blog is also in order. Perhaps this will inspire me to write more. Perhaps.

Truth be told... I kind of miss it.
